Here's the GORC coach. One of the things I appreciate about baseball and the baseball coaches is that they're not yelling all the time. Maybe it's because it's fall ball, not the spring season, but everyone was pretty laid back; having a good time, which I appreciate. Too often we take youth sports way, way too seriously. I'm adamant that my kids will work hard, play hard, be well coached, but also enjoy themselves. The point of sports isn't to get a scholarship to pay for school, it's to teach the kids about teamwork and for them to enjoy the thrill of playing the game.
